Teguise Cultural Agenda – November 2025

The municipality of Teguise once again becomes a cultural hub during the month of November with an extensive programme of activities combining tradition, music, literature, cinema and art. Throughout the month, iconic venues in La Villa, such as the Convent of Santo Domingo and the Timple House Museum, will host a programme that invites visitors to enjoy local culture and Canarian talent in all its forms.

The programme kicks off with the II Jornada de Juego de Palo, which showcases one of the oldest indigenous sports of the Islands. This will be followed by other highlights such as the literary presentation of "La sangre de la malvasía" by Jorge Laguna, the Canarias Surf Film Festival, and the eagerly awaited Opera Gala - Bel Canto Espectacular, part of the Lanzarote Opera Festival. Music will continue to take centre stage with the Conciencia Estefanía Curbelo Festival, the Domini concert, the Toñín Corujo Quartet and the end of the month with the Calicanto Festival, a tribute to the folklore and cultural identity of the Canary Islands.

In addition, throughout November, visitors will be able to enjoy two outstanding exhibitions: "Piel de Tunera" by Mar Romero, at the Convent of Santo Domingo, and "Lanzarote y las Agrupaciones Fotográficas" by Gerardo Quevedo Estévez, at the Timple House Museum. Both showcase the artistic richness and value of the island's cultural heritage.
