On Tuesday, 25 November at 8:00 p.m., the Convent of Santo Domingo will host the theatrical performance SECA, a play inspired by Federico García Lorca's Yerma that addresses silence, oppression and unexpressed desires. With a contemporary staging and a performance charged with symbolic force, the play invites reflection on what remains hidden "behind the walls," as one of the phrases accompanying the staging points out.
The play offers an updated interpretation of Lorca's universe, where emotional tension and visual aesthetics combine to bring an intense and poetic story to life. The Bilateral37 theatre company presents a production that engages with theatrical tradition while exploring new theatrical languages, making this event one of the cultural highlights of the month.
Admission: Free until full capacity is reached
