On 19 November at 8.30 pm, the Plaza de los Leones will host Sonidos de Identidad (Sounds of Identity), an institutional event bringing together the Rancho de Pascuas de Teguise and Los Diabletes de Teguise, two cultural expressions deeply rooted in the history and identity of the municipality. This gathering offers the public the opportunity to experience first-hand the symbolic and sonic power of traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation.
The event combines ritual music, ancestral expressions and theatrical elements that evoke the collective memory of the people. It is a unique opportunity to learn about the intangible heritage of Teguise and discover the cultural significance that these practices have retained over time.
